NCUI for Public Administration
The NCUI project’s Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) has been developed in response to the societal and economic need to align cutting-edge research in the field of artificial intelligence with the public interest and the practical needs of the Czech public administration.
About the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA)
The SRA is designed to provide a general framework for collaboration with policymakers in the spirit of the “Science for Policy” approach. The SRA’s activities are focused on systematically strengthening the relationship between research and public policy-making.

General Framework for Cooperation
It develops standardized processes and a methodological and ethical framework for Science for Policy that can be applied across sectors, ensuring that they are based on the actual needs of public administration through the mapping of opportunities across sectors and the analysis of needs.
Access Validation
They are evaluating the effectiveness of the framework in three key areas of public administration transformation: e-government, cybersecurity, and participatory governance.

Science 4 Policy
The Science for Policy approach links NCUI’s research capabilities with the needs of public administration and supports the use of scientific knowledge in public policy-making and strategic decision-making. Through SRA, we are creating a general framework for long-term collaboration with public administration based on identifying its needs, jointly addressing current challenges, and translating research findings into practical recommendations, methodologies, analytical studies, and policy briefs. We are subsequently testing this approach in specific areas such as eGovernment, cybersecurity, and participatory governance.

Dialogue and Action
Dialogue among the research community, public administration, industry, and other relevant stakeholders is an important part of NCUI’s activities. Through regular meetings, we create a space for sharing current needs and experiences, discussing research findings, and jointly exploring ways to use artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively in practice.
